How to connect to the PTR

Connect in four steps

1. Register an account on this site.
2. Get a WoW 3.3.5a (build 12340) client. The download link is in step 2 on the home page.
3. Set the realmlist to ptr.wow-legends.eu in both of these files:
   • WTF\Config.wtf: SET realmlist ptr.wow-legends.eu
   • Data\<your language>\realmlist.wtf, for example Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf: set realmlist ptr.wow-legends.eu
4. Start Wow.exe and log in with your account name (not your email) and your password.

Still can't log in?

• Start Wow.exe directly. Some launchers overwrite the realmlist.
• Delete the Cache folder and try again.
• Check that your network can reach the server. In PowerShell, run Test-NetConnection ptr.wow-legends.eu -Port 3724. If it shows TcpTestSucceeded : False, the connection is blocked before it reaches us.

Your account here only works on this site and the demo realm. Your wow-legends.eu account is a separate login.
